(00:22):

There we have it. Welcome back FEM Nation. I am once again, very excited that you are here with me today listening to this episode. Now I need to let you know then I made a mistake. I made a mistake, and I started realizing it last week, but the previous episode here on FM Nation, I faltered back into really the area I didn't want to be in, and I don't really want to be in, but I'm going to leave that episode up as it is, and I'll tell you, I'll, I'll give you more context around that. But then I had the next episode created, already recorded, that was going to follow the series that I had had projected for the podcast episodes coming up. And I really enjoyed the episodes specifically, but I felt it got windy and it was okay. I was like, Ah, I'm not gonna overthink this.

(01:28):

But what it was is that I defaulted into teaching, and that was exactly what I was not going to do with this episode when I brought it back. Sharing wisdom, not teaching. There are plenty of teachers out there. I don't want to be another person or another voice or another podcast teaching about a strategy or something that's working or what have you. It doesn't sit like that. It doesn't work that way, and it doesn't need to work that way. You see, those of you that listen to this podcast and those that will come in the future to listen to this podcast are not here specifically not following me specifically, because the strategy that I can share with you, I've got strategies, I know strategies at work. I test strategies all the time, but there's context around a strategy that so many in this industry fail to share, and that is that the strategy worked for them and not necessarily for you.

(02:33):

They had a different starting point. And those that have measurable success or at different starting points than maybe you are, it may be something you're not ready for or maybe something that you're past, but marketing is so wonderful in the opportunity to be able to drive you towards the possibility of finding a solution when the solution actually rests in you. You see the wisdom that I want to share in this podcast and subsequent episodes that lights me up and I feel right. I feel that I did what I was supposed to do with an episode is not just for me. Wisdom is also something that you have. It's something that you can tap into What you're building as a course or a program all relates to wisdom on your end, things you've experienced, things you know how to get from point A to point B.

(03:31):

You know how to talk about it, although a lot of you are not talking, you're not sharing it in written form or sharing it in vocal form or sharing it in video form for that matter. But the wisdom that we have as a collective is what is absolutely necessary and needed in today's world. We don't need one more teacher or preacher or someone to show us how to go make a gazillion dollars. Money comes, finances come. We are resourceful as heck. I know I am. I have many things that I could go do and generate income or generate revenue or expand my business. There are many different ways that people share to do that. That's not what I want to be known for. That's not what I want to share, and that's not what I want you to spend your time on with me listening to me.

(04:25):

I want you to lean into your wisdom by me sharing my wisdom, and that is important to me. And so I made a mistake by dropping back into the teaching mode. It's a common default and my logical, analytical side of my brain and my creative side of my brain, they fight over this space. But I have learned in the transition of becoming more who I am, I pause only because there's, there's specific words and words have power, and I wanna make sure that those words are landing properly. But in my quest to become deeper and to lead and to be a voice, to be real, authentic, fresh, relevant, different, pushing beyond the boundaries, it's not in a strategy that's going to shift tomorrow. It's in the wisdom of what's been learned up to today and what's possible to learn today. And that is where my heart is with this podcast.

(05:39):

Those first two episodes back, I felt it, and then I hit that third episode and I felt like I took a little too long on it, but it's okay. I had to get through all five points. Now, the five points, the five stages that I shared in there are valuable, absolutely valuable. And if you wanna consume content, you can still grab that download. You can still listen to that. And I will still record the other four points. And I'm not going to throw away the episode that didn't get released this week. I will keep it and I will house it somewhere else, but it was not right to be on this podcast. It was not the right place for it, I should say. And I knew it, but I wasn't certain. And I sat on it for just a moment because in my quest to become the leader to do things differently, I've learned to pause and be at peace.

(06:33):

And I know when I find that ar that area, that pause and that piece. And so when I was pausing with it, I took a couple days and I thought, No, maybe I should go back with it. And I thought, No, I should let it go. It doesn't belong there. So I was like, Yeah, I'm not sure yet. And then I came back and I was like, Nope, it needs to go. And I came back. I was like, But that means I have to record another podcast episode. And then of course it's podcast episodes drop on Tuesday. The new episode was not recorded on Monday. It's recorded on a Wednesday. And so therefore the episode didn't drop on a Tuesday, hence why you're getting this a day later. But it was all of the back and forth that I needed to listen to and I needed to process through, and I needed to be at peace with.

(07:21):

It was the opportunity to say this seemed right in the moment, but yet when that gut check came around, I knew I needed to shift it. And it wasn't like I wrote a post and then deleted it. It's not that it was being true to the calling of where I am today versus the information that I know, the strategy that I know, even if it works, where it was previously that is not today. Today is a different world. And so I ultimately decided, it's all right. I can make mistakes. I can also correct them. And I pulled the episode and I thought about, what am I gonna talk about? Cuz usually I'll, I'll know before the week of the episode, before I record what I'm going to jam on with you guys. And I wasn't sure, That was part of my hesitation too. I was like, Oh, I've gotta record another episode.

(08:18):

What is it going to be? But then Monday afternoon, too late for me to go ahead and set up my little space here to be able to record this for you. It was too late. But I knew I wanted to just tell you that we can change our mind. We can strive for deeper. And as we take people along this journey with us, because I suspect you have people that are going to need to learn from you, do need to learn from you and will be following you along in this journey that you are walking. We need to be real and authentic and we can shift and change when we know that the outcome is for the better good, the better collective. Sure, I can teach a topic, I can tell you all about that phase. But was it proper in this context? No. I'll save it for later. I'll deliver it some other way. I'll put a hyperlink. All of the things that we can do.

(09:24):

But I want it to be completely transparent. I want it to be something that you know me for, that you relate to me for, that you can actually take away from this episode and apply to your world, your life, your business, your authenticity, your integrity. I want you to be able to say, It's not a hundred percent landing with me. It's not quite right, even if it's only five degrees off, even if it's so close, but it's just not quite there. That's okay. Honor that, that little nudge, even as small as in a, and as insignificant as you may think it is, honor that space. Dive into it. Look at it. Say, Why is it not landing with me When you put a post out when you write, or if you're a podcaster and you put an episode out and it landed, you know, nailed it.

(10:22):

That 5% never comes up anywhere. It doesn't show through, it doesn't nudge you. But when something does, when you're learning from an expert out there, you're like, Yeah, this is just close but not quite right. Keep seeking. Look into what it is that that nudge is for. Keep seeking what that is, that you are meant to learn from it. Do not ignore it, cuz I promise you this, if you ignore it now, it's going to come back up somewhere. It's going to resurface somehow, and you will still have to learn the lesson and address it in a different space, but it's easier to address it here. It's not hard and overwhelming. It doesn't have to cripple you or slow you down. It's part of the process. And the process is where we learn the process is who we are. That doesn't change. And we can take people along with that, with us on that journey as they choose your invitation to come along with you.

(11:27):

That's how you show up as a leader. That's how you share wisdom. That is how you break free from what is commonplace and push the boundaries further. That's how we initiate change. We do it different. And so yes, I'm recognizing that this podcast episode is late this week. I'm okay with that. I'm sure you'll be okay with it. But I'm also recognizing the deeper message that needed to be shared. And this one lands for me and I gut check internally to make sure, but this one lands with me that this was the message that needed to come out to you through the podcast.

(12:12):

So that's all there is to it, guys, a day late. Always worth it. But wisdom is where this podcast is. And wisdom sharing my experiences all along the way, even if they're fresh, that I'm just going through them, is exactly where you and I are meant to connect. I'm gonna wrap it up there guys, and I want to make sure that you give yourself the freedom to be able to honor that nudge, that something is close but not quite. If it's a post, go back to it. Edit the post. I do it all the time for grammatical errors or also for the flow, the tone of voice. Even after I post them, I write 'em, sit with them, process them, and then I post. But then also, in any form of communication that you are sharing with others, it's okay to shift it. It's okay to change it because your heart and the intention that you bring to the table is what's real and true and authentic and with integrity. But no matter what, as I always say, keep moving forward. That's how we change the world.
